We might find them, but convincing them to move (to us) will be problematic. Unless you mean draftees, who could take several seasons to get to the level required?
Draft is the predominant way that we get talent through the door, so that would have to be our primary focus. Would be nice to get a ready made player like a Peatling. Wouldn't want to pay the price for Houston. Remains to be seen if we actually acquire a talent in the trade period

I have decided to get onboard this positivity thread and point out to you nervous nellies just how the Dogs can win trade week. And this can happen.
Currently we have picks 32, 44 and 86. I will assume we will get picks 16 ( for Smith) and 26 ( Macrae).
Remember stay positive.
At pick 16 Dogs take Finn O’Sullivan gun mid.No one can believe he slid to our pick. Other clubs obsession with small forwards has worked in our favour and we are not missing out.
Pick 26 and the Dogs take Jagga Smith. Same reasons as for pick 16.
At pick 32 there is no way we miss out on Josh Smillie. Other clubs tunnel vision on smalls is manna from heaven for the Dogs. Rejoice.
At pick 44 Dogs select Issac Kaka small forward. How did the other clubs miss this gem. Oh happy days.
At pick 86 Dogs take Luke Trainor KPD. I was hoping for a small defender here but you can’t get everything you want and must play the hand you are dealt. Cannot believe he got through to this pick. Praise the Lord.
So in the one draft we have addressed needs for mids, a small forward and a KPD.
I think I have clearly demonstrated how the club can get something out of this season just through keen assessment, astute judgement and just a little luck.
