I guess my question is: are you looking for lies? Are you desperate to find cracks to exploit and divide the club with?
What does that bring you, except being then able to claim you were right in your disgust over Kennett returning?
Look, I'm no Jeff-ite, and there are a tonne of positions I'd think he was professionally unfit for and morally questionable to embody.
But President of the Hawthorn Footy Club? Hell yeah he can progress our agenda. He can walk into a room full of business people and insist that we are not just heard, but that it would be a challenge and a pain to stand in our way.
For 3 years he will force feed our needs down whoever's throat he must, and our club will be better off for it.
If he screws up Clarko's ability to enact the onfield part of the plan, then he will get bopped on the head by the supporters and playing staff and screw his legacy.
Jeffrey's smarter than that. I think.

HAWTHORN has legally cleared the stunning return of Jeff Kennett as president.
The Hawks sought independent legal opinion over whether Kennett could be reappointed as chairman, having already served the two-term maximum of six years.
Kennett served six years as president of the Hawks from 2005 until the end of 2011 and was at the helm for the 2008 flag. Peter Nankviell, a club director, is acting CEO until the club finds a replacement.
Kennett himself was the driving force behind restricting the club president to two terms. But the club’s legal advice was that Kennett could come back as president because the limit only applied for consecutive terms.
Kennett is understood to have formally agreed to return to the club as president on Tuesday. The outspoken former Victorian premier, however, had retained close contact with Hawthorn insiders including the club board and was well aware of the issues surrounding departed CEO Tracey GaudrRichard Garvey resigned as president at a board meeting on Wednesday morning, having taken responsibility for the ill-fated appointment of Gaudry, which lasted only five months.
That Kennett has been cleared to take up the presidency immediately — he will be installed as chairman on Monday — means Hawthorn will not need to change its constitution at the end of year Annual General Meeting.
Kennett was at the club on Wednesday morning and has already spoken to staff, including senior coach Alastair Clarkson, who at times was at odds with the strong-willed and forthright Kennett.
The resignation of director Bruce Stevenson is said to be for personal and professional reasons and not connected to the fallout from the Gaudry termination.
“The Board of the Hawthorn Football Club met early this morning where the President, Richard Garvey, indicated that he was resigning as president of the club accepting responsibility for a recent Board decision,” the Hawks said on Wednesday.
“The Board ratified that former President Jeff Kennett assume the presidency subject to a members’ vote at the AGM in December, which has been accepted.
“Richard Garvey will continue as a director.
“The transfer of authority will commence on Monday 9 October 2017.”

Just on that Aus article - if her husband had a serious heart ailment that caused her to not be at work/have lots of appointments and she told nobody at the Club (which the article infers) then it pretty much backs up her ex boss’ assessment that stakeholder management wasn’t her strong suit.
