I think suggesting that the Hawthorn statement that personal and family considerations were at play is at least reasonable considering the facts now known.
Whether other factors also contributed to the decision for Gaudry to leave her position can speculated on by everyone, but to call the club liars for releasing the statement they did was clearly outlandish and unfounded.
Be nice if all those who just spouted off shite because of their own histrionic agendas would just stand front and center when they're wrong and admit they had no reason to spread lies about the people at our great club.
White lies not lies
Jeff saying he was first approached Monday morning. That sort of thing
If he screws up Clarko's ability to enact the onfield part of the plan, then he will get bopped on the head by the supporters and playing staff and screw his legacy.
Jeffrey's smarter than that. I think.
Can you back that up with some evidence, please. No he is not.
Can you back that up with some evidence, please.
JK's last tenure as president didn't screw AC's "ability to enact the onfield part of the plan'.
Clarko built a list from bottom 3 to premiers in 4 years while Kennett was president.
Quite frankly, you do not know Kennett.
Alright, if you say so.Mainly recruited circa 2002 and 2005.
If you think Kennett had a hand in that, you are delusional.
Quite frankly,I used to know Jeff very well.
He is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I'm not going to argue anymore with simpletons. It's clear that some people can't get past their political bias and just the facts as facts and not 'lucky coincidences'.
HAWTHORN has legally cleared the stunning return of Jeff Kennett as president.
The Hawks sought independent legal opinion over whether Kennett could be reappointed as chairman, having already served the two-term maximum of six years.
Kennett served six years as president of the Hawks from 2005 until the end of 2011 and was at the helm for the 2008 flag. Peter Nankviell, a club director, is acting CEO until the club finds a replacement.
Kennett himself was the driving force behind restricting the club president to two terms. But the club’s legal advice was that Kennett could come back as president because the limit only applied for consecutive terms.
Kennett is understood to have formally agreed to return to the club as president on Tuesday. The outspoken former Victorian premier, however, had retained close contact with Hawthorn insiders including the club board and was well aware of the issues surrounding departed CEO Tracey GaudrRichard Garvey resigned as president at a board meeting on Wednesday morning, having taken responsibility for the ill-fated appointment of Gaudry, which lasted only five months.
That Kennett has been cleared to take up the presidency immediately — he will be installed as chairman on Monday — means Hawthorn will not need to change its constitution at the end of year Annual General Meeting.
Kennett was at the club on Wednesday morning and has already spoken to staff, including senior coach Alastair Clarkson, who at times was at odds with the strong-willed and forthright Kennett.
The resignation of director Bruce Stevenson is said to be for personal and professional reasons and not connected to the fallout from the Gaudry termination.
“The Board of the Hawthorn Football Club met early this morning where the President, Richard Garvey, indicated that he was resigning as president of the club accepting responsibility for a recent Board decision,” the Hawks said on Wednesday.
“The Board ratified that former President Jeff Kennett assume the presidency subject to a members’ vote at the AGM in December, which has been accepted.
“Richard Garvey will continue as a director.
“The transfer of authority will commence on Monday 9 October 2017.”
Well that limited tenure thing was a waste of time
Okay mate. You're too smart for us all.My IQ is/was in the top half percentile. Been barracking for Hawthorn since '55.
Although I have never voted Liberal, that has nothing to do with my love for the Hawthorn way of getting things done.
I have presented the facts to you, tige and aramis.

Well at least we have an explanation for the Stevenson resignation now.
No it wasn't. I may be in the minority but I never thought it precluded anyone returning later for another stint. (Not that I ever expected Jeff to do that).
Whatever works for Vladimir Putin...No it wasn't. I may be in the minority but I never thought it precluded anyone returning later for another stint. (Not that I ever expected Jeff to do that).

None of what you have presented proves you right. There is no evidence to back up your claim. All you've done if make random claims you think will make your point more valid, but they're completely irrelevant to your initial claim.
So where is your evidence to back up that JK is not smart enough to stay out of the onfield stuff?
This time answer with relevant info. I don't care what make believe IQ score you gave yourself and what make believe score you gave JK. I don't care how long you supported Hawthorn. I don't care who you have voted for, it's clear already from your posting.
Don't bother replying unless you have evidence to back up your claims.
