Definitely one of the more cringey things I've read on here
Analysing which players are best friends is very weird.

The question is does it effect the dynamics of team?

I think it's a very valid question given how Dunks wanted a trade for that exact reason - when he basically expressed that he was feeling ostracized from the group in the hub in Qld & how everything changed for him when Treloar came on board.

So if you want to virtue signal on how cringey or ewwww it is to analyse the dynamics within a group go right ahead. But the idea that it doesn't impact on field performance tells me that you have never been in a high performance environment.

going by the photos of match Sim, looks like Zaine Cordy was playing as a key forward.

Thoughts and feelings on this?

That's what I noticed too. It could mean something or it could mean nothing. Schache is definitely training as a key back.

We could be earmarking Cordy for a defensive forward role similar to 2016 to give Naughton & JUH some assistance. If we decide to go with English as the lone ruckman, we can't put either JUH or Naughts in the ruck so Cordy may be the one to do so.

Or each game we'll take one genuine swingman into the side with Cordy & Schache fighting it out for that spot?

My take on this is he’s our least preferred defender tbh - or at least we just know what he is as a player. I don’t think there’s any improvement in Cordys game whilst we need to see what Schache, Gardener, O’Brien etc can do. I highly doubt we’ve got any intention of playing Cordy forward in a real game any more but in preseason training he could really challenge the likes of Schache and O’Brien who are learning to play as attacking defenders

Now they want Tim English

Eagles are well stocked for Rucks Naitanui, Vardy, Allen, Williams and have a pretty good eye, they have also developed Lycett, Hickey and Sinclair who are doing ok elsewhere.

If they are offering Sweet multi year deals and chasing English that's a pretty good sign.

On the other hand, Ilija Grgic.
