WIN TV will be carrying Sky News on a free to air 24 hour news channel in their regional markets. I'm not sure how broadcasting the opinions of inner city elites is worthy of a regional broadcaster but this will certainly set the cat among the pigeons. I guess regional Australia is conservative heartland, though.

I have a feeling this might be just what it takes to get Labor on board striking out the media reach rule to allow the big networks to buy out the like of WIN, PRIME, and Southern Cross if it means getting assurances Sky News wont get their own channel on free to air.

Seven years since they cut every single one of their regional bureaus in WA and sacked all of their journalists; now they're shovelling conservative inner city elitists like Andrew Bolt and Chris Kenny down our throats and calling it regional coverage.

Sensational.:drunk:

If Blot achieves the same ratings in the regions as he has in the inner cities it will amount to about two and a dog.

Hadn't realise this, not sure how the toothless Code of Practice will control this:

But we couldn’t help wondering how those rightwing presenters who populate the evening shifts at Sky will fare under the restrictions of free-to-air TV. While you can say pretty much what you like on pay TV, broadcasters have to abide by the commercial TV industry code of practice when presenting news.

The code has strict rules for impartiality, accuracy and fairness, presenting factual material accurately and ensuring “viewpoints included in the program are not misrepresented”. We can’t wait to see how Andrew Bolt, Peta Credlin and Paul Murray fare under those rules.

They’ll be fine. It hasn’t ever stopped the ABC from not being impartial.

You can't be serious! Isn't that where you get your information on climate change? :oops:

you ever thought people just want to live their life and not be dictated to what to do by radicalized uni students with NFI that their other lefty loony friends with NFI have told them in uni
they are not racists bigits or any of the usual words you want to describe the masses of normal people of society

they are people with lives, families and friends who just want to live their life and enjoy it, instead of hanging out at cafes eating over prices smashed avocado whinging about life whilst trying to act intelligent!

Nein.....

It ain't called that cos it sounds funny
funny how the loons at the ABC and its radicalized followers are always first to mock Bolt yet never want to go head to head with him to debate his opinion and facts!

oh wait the only time that has happened they ended up being flogged and crying on FB trying to claim assult

Says the fan of the conservative demagogue who;

- Lives in inner-city Melbourne;
- Displays no interest in anything not affecting inner-city or suburban Sydney/Melbourne;
- Is yet to cover anything not related to inner city or suburban Melbourne/Sydney in any of his columns this year.

Righto.:drunk:

And your basing that on what?

Again !!!
Well considering that Simpson picture is something you regularly post with out responding! you one to talk

That attack on bolt is about the closest the looney left have ever gotten to in wanting to engage with him!

After all a debate head to head on a few topic would be just to hard wouldn’t it
