Wants out of the limelight and the bubble that AFL football can be. Apparently sick of it after being in the two horse town in WA. Perfectly good reason for an AFL footballer. Marley Williams said he liked that aspect when he left Collingwood. It was a selling point for Martin too.
Perhaps Simpson, Rawlings, Pratt, and Petrie have all told him what North is like.

Grow up.
Eagles fans have all but accepted Gaff and Lycett are gone. We've moved on to watching finals and what picks we will land to use in this super draft. Four picks in the first two rounds is exciting especially with Cameron coming to us as a academy kid late in the draft.
North's going the Port route thinking trading in players on stupid coin is the answer. Eagles tried that years ago and it didnt work.
Next year Norths will be just making up the numbers just like this year.

At least Gaff is an elite mid.
If we match I think we will know he isnt staying. Would be nice to take Norths first plus Anderson or Preuss in a trade. Norths will pay that too as they dont want to be embarrassed and rejected........AGAIN!

Since when have Eagles fans accepted Gaff or Lycett are out the door? Wasn't that long ago McGovern was supposedly on a plane, or a taxi down to Cockburn.
