It’s not 2012. Ask buddy what he thinks of the new WA stradiuns surface.

Optus Stadiums surface was hard initially, which is the case for all newly laid turf. It’s fine now.

Docklands is built on top of concrete, so it’s surface will always be hard.

Optus Stadium has a sand base so the surface has naturally softened as it has aged.

regardless of the Gaff situation, it really is a pathetic way to run a football club.

offer massive overs to every single player on the market
what do the current NM players really think ?

Potentially the highest paid player at the club could be someone who has never played a game for them

even if North are successful do they really believe it won't cause future problems with the playing list ?

so glad a professional club like WC never goes down this path

Funny, we haven't lost anyone we've really wanted to keep in years. Everyone seems pretty content.

Yeah, coz we were in for Lynch, Shiel and heaps of others in the market.

Agree but it's a pretty big thing to report.
The report seems to be the Tom Browne "leaning towards staying" that's been floating around for a few days, Nothing actually of substance.

Nope. It doesn’t.

Gaff, who the hell knows, but I’m 100% certain that WCE club officials are not running a Facebook fan group.

You can continue thinking that.

When there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.

All this "Gaff Staying" stuff in the past hours has been started by Adrian Barich who realistically wouldnt have a clue as he simply a one eyed eagles flog trying to masquerade as a reporter.

Yeah just means don't go be an ass hole and go ripping into those people because they could read what you post like any Eagles fan

Also means there could be club officials in the group.

Again, I’m not saying it’s true, but that’s what people within the group seem to think.

Its broken in perth now ,perth news, the west and channel seven but Batich is a west coast flog and a face book group seems legit and Buddy doesnt like the Perth stadium so geepers I dont know what to think.

Could be literally anyone in the group. That post is just to say dont be a dick because they are regular people who could be reading. Nothing about it suggests Eagles officials are running a fan page on facebook

The West Australian & Perth Now, Which are both in the same group as Channel 7 Perth & Barich works for Channel 7?????

West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff spent Saturday tightlipped about his future after finishing fifth in the Eagles’ best and fairest on Friday night with no announcement expected until Sunday at the earliest.

The Victorian-raised left footer is weighing up whether to return to his home state to play for North Melbourne or remain at the Eagles after suspension forced him to miss the club’s nailbiting grand final win over Collingwood.

However, he avoided the issue in his speech at the best and fairest, congratulating his teammates on the win, thanking the coaches and saying how much he loved turning up to the club each day.

‘‘The last week or so has been unbelievable to celebrate with all you guys. It’s a special moment,’’ Gaff said.

Gaff has had to make the tough decision in trying circumstances after he copped an eight-game suspension for striking Fremantle’s Andrew Brayshaw, the impact breaking Brayshaw’s jaw and shocking Gaff, who said he did not intend to land the punch on his opponent’s face.

The suspension forced him to miss the club’s finals and premiership while his father’s health problems made it a particularly difficult period for the 26-year-old.

Gaff’s decision is expected soon, however, with the Eagles entering the trade period with several issues on their plate after Scott Lycett decided to accept a five-year deal to join Port Adelaide as a restricted free agent and Tim Kelly told Geelong he wanted a trade to West Coast after just one year at the club because of his family’s circumstances.
