This is a very poor troll on Embers part. How about I nominate Embers for delisting from Bigfooty!
I am mystified by some people's obssession with and hatred of Andrew Walker. Did they make a pass at him and he turned them down or something?
how about...

He has had two years and has only shown he has no talent, is weak as a little girl and is more interested in having a bong with Fev then he is in playing footy.

He is by far the worst 2nd pick in AFL history, he has been left to tag, and it turns out he sucks at that too. Do Carlton need a orange peeler, if not then i cant see what use he has.

Its best he is delisted now before he causes further embarassment to the Carlton fans. His mediocrity is a blight on the game, he is not good at anything, apparantly he cant even warm up the bench any good either.

Should this grade A dud be delisted, or should Carlton embarass themselves further and keep him on there list?
embers- you seem a bit jealous of andrew walker. did he cost you your chance to make the afl?

**********house thread! Walker resigned with the blues for another two years a few months back. And I'm sure the Blues would have been very happy with that.

Walker is a very talented young man but like many at Carlton, is finding 'talent' doesn't make the player. Don't expect too much of him whilst the club has "leaders" such as Fevola for kids to look up to.

You have a point. That's what disappoints me most about Fev. Hopefully he can improve in that regard. :)

No he is not but he is certainly better than your farren gay !
Maybe it was just me but hasnt Farren Ray, the raw player that was expected to come on in his 3rd year played all of the 2nd half of the year in a good mid field, compared to Walker who plays VFL for the tem that won the Spoon.

The reality is you just don’t have anyone as talented as Walker on your list do you. :)

You are right.
I'm sure McLean, Sylvia, Johnstone, Bruce, Robertson and many more Melbourne players cry themselves to sleep, because they are just not as good as Walker!

Damn, we should have made you take McLean at pick 3, and then we would have ended up with yet crap, soft try-hard tagger!

I dont think he'll b delisted at all. Sure he hasnt shown the potential everyone talked him up 2 b, but if it was there surely it still is. I think that the reason he is not living up 2 his potential is becoz he is at a club where things rnt going well so its rubbing off on his form. I think the carlton should use him as trade bait, and try and get either a reasonable player for him, or more draft piks and really start to rebuild with young players instead of recycled players that rnt much good. Besides stevens, teague and scotland, the rest they wasted

Walker played 18/22 games this season and he has plenty of talent.
no chance Carlton will trade him. It takes players time to develop and he is only 19.
Everybody seems to have forgotten about Luke Hodge and how he was considered a dud up to last season? Walker is the same and will develop into a great player as he has already shown glimpses. (First game, shutting down McLeod and Akermanis)

If he was drafted with pick 70 instead of pick 2 then we would be delisted going on form.

Take it from a Carlton supporter when I say you're very, very wrong. He's already played something like 30+ games. That's a good return from any 2nd year player, and Pagan doesn't give young players an easy ride.

Well he has given Walker a pretty easy ride. He gave him tagging jobs to relieve some pressure because his ball use and ability to find the ball was causing him to be found out.

You could easily say the same thing about McDougall. The kid is down on confidence and playing in a crap team with poor leadership. Part of the problem is the senior players share the ball amongst themselves far too much and Walker is often ignored despite making good position. His disposal needs improvement but at training it's very good so I think it has more to do with a lack confidence and/or poise and that will improve in time.

He has hardly given him an easy ride by continually playing him out of position and not allowing him to settle. If you want to have a go at one of our players, theres plenty to pick before Walker.
