Although the 2 players mentioned by that source are training away from the group according to this morning's report. With McCrae and Kelly. What do you make of that?
Probably just have a cold. Surely wouldn’t be at training if it was covid.

Krueger is training away from the group apparently. Moore's mingling with everyone else. It was reported in the media and staff did tell people at Open training that both Moore & Krueger were sent home that day (Friday) with a migraine/illness/different symptoms to JDG. But the person who came on here saying they had it on good authority Moore had covid and was definitely an out for Anzac Day clearly needs new sources 😆

You need to harden up. What garbage about Geelong beating us like that. Get a grip.
Bizarre right? Our outs might have flipped the result, but saying that they’re worth over 100 points is over dramatic tripe.

Totally agree. Being outdoors, let alone training with covid would sap their energy and intensify the symptoms. So they can't have covid. And if they are infectious with something else, why are they training with two guys playing VFL, possibly AFL in McCrae's case? Seems there was something in the rumour but what precisely is the nature of the problem remains a total mystery.

Have the boys had their man-flu jabs? I was struck down by this recently

It was reported and people were told at training on Friday only that they were both sent home that morning with symptoms different to JDG.

I’ve been looking at a few stats in relation to the bombers.

They’re a high scoring team. They’ve kicked over 100 in 3/5 games. In one game they kicked 88 points which included 11 goals and 22 behinds.

Only against the Saints did they have less than 20 scoring shots. In their other 4 games, they had at least 28 scoring shots.

Furthermore, 2 of their 4 wins they had over 60 inside 50’s and the other 2 games they had 57 entries. In their loss, they only had 48 Inside 50’s.

They’re very efficient (#2) at turning Inside 50’s into scoring shots.

They’re only an average clearance team (10th). However, they’re the 4th best team at winning contested possessions. The only game the bombers have lost (Saints), they lost the contested possession count.

The bombers don’t win the ball at the source. However, their pressure and ability to win contested possessions ensure they win the ball back.

Parish averages 14 contested possessions himself. He’s their “in and under” midfielder. Unsurprisingly, he’s also involved in most of their scores. I wouldn’t be opposed to Pendles running with Parish.

I think it’s going to be a very fast game. 5 goal leads still won’t feel safe for either team.

Adams out is massive, but kinda balanced with Merrett out. I think our midfield should win more contests than not. We need to use our clearance dominance to expose their defence. I’d back our forwards in one-on-one contests.

It’s going to be a very very close game.

OK I didn't realise it was officially reported. I was just thinking it all came from 'the source'.

Unfortunately Kmart Chris Scott has them playing with an actual system

I had an extremely mild version of Covid last year - hope Darcy's is similar- (I could have played but just wasn't selected)
Out of all the flus I have had including covid twice I would put covid last on scale of severity. Get a week of work and your a bit tired for a day 👍

Well not an official report from the club that I saw...the media reports said the club expected them to both be fine by Sunday training & the game. All I saw in the media was they were both sent home on Friday with symptoms different to JDG. Considering there was a bit of flu/gastro/stomach bug stuff going around the club prior to Gather Round & whilst they were in Adelaide, it wasn't unexpected, I suppose. Anyway, they're both there today, so not ruled out with covid like the person with the inside info said 😉

Didn't work that way for me at all. Covid was horrible. So many varied experiences of it from different people, including an 83 yr old who described is as like a mild cold, so nothing you can even say is necessarily worse with age.

Darcy Moore is training.
