i'm sure that some of the Melbourne Grammar boys would probably get a game or two in the Wesley XI. Or maybe not, seeing as they are such a top side.

Wesley vs Melb Grammar -
MGS 207 and 2/83 (dec)
Sartori 93, Hopkins 52,

defeated

Wesley 124 and 4/63
James Harrod 3/18 and 2/9
Tom O'shaughnessy 3/32

etc.....
god, give us two players of vance and sartori's standard and it would be game on, i can tell you right now that if our school got its sh1t together and had 2 scholarships of that calliber, it would of been a contest. Just becuase harrod gets wickets in the APS doesn't mean he is any good. Lets see how far he gets once he leaves the APS scene

Can someone please list the APS cricket premiership winners for the last 20-30 years? Just interesting to see...

Bad luck NICHO Wesley don't, maybe thar's why they were the worst team, and probably will be next year. They have a couple of decent batsmen who'll be back next year, but will again struggle for depth.
How can anyone from Wesley say who is, or who is not a good bowler. The fact is he would walk into the Wesley side.

i better not personally attack the harrods because i might get in trouble, but i think they're in for an ordinary season. but if they put in their 5 month pre-season, i think they might improve.

maybe you should put in a big pre-season tiger coll and then you won't be running round in the two's all year. Stop causing trouble you .....

I think cricket is the only sport in the APS where everyone has won it in the last 20 years - that's how it was a couple of years ago, anyway.

to bring up my 100th post, let me make a big bold statement.

MGS will win the premiership with 6 players from MGS making the APS combined side - Vance, Sartori, Dunell (of the jake variety who will stay back a year after not doing well in VCE), Ellis, Wood and Hince (who will take over keeping duties after the no.1 keeper is played as a batsman after dropping too many catches)

can everyone please stop talking about the harrods. They are very average cricketers. The sh1t that some of the melbourne grammar kids talk on this board is amaising. wesley whent on a tour of england winning 6 and losing 2. should have been 7-1 but we were robbed out of our last game thanks to some biased umpiring.
I totally agree. the harrods r to keen for there own good. some say there dad will pressure them into leaving school for a month before the cricket season in order to train for cricket.

what sort of statement is that, i can tell you right now the harrods are just ordinary bowlers, you clearly don't know a thing about cricket.

st kevins will build a very solid side over the next two years, after losing keely (captain of the aps side and most runs in the comp), dixon (scored 400 runs), martignago (aps keeper) and durham but have new crop such as liam dunne, daniel hutton and tom hickey comeing through the ranks, should be a star team in a few years

Keely was the best batsmen I bowled to by a long way in the APS this year, gun. I don't think St Kevins will be much 2005-2006. Dunne is a good player but I'm not sure who else they have.

satori has never made a century at any level, this is goin to be a worry for MGS this season if he makes a start, might not have the skill to go on and make a big one like the past . is he scared of the big 100 ?? :p

yer keely was very good this year played two of the best knocks i have seen in school boy cricket, 102 off 93 balls against melb. grammer to tie the game and 126* against scotch whilst his team fell around him. superd bowling line up but made it look easy. should go places

u idiot. Sartori is a star batsmen he made 93* one match and makes plenty of runs. Bowls very well. Will make plenty of runs this year as mgs go on to win the premiership
