I just can’t see a reason we’ll decline from last season. Particularly if Trac and Clarry come back in good nick as it’s currently looking. You’d have to be crystal balling some injuries or other distractions.I would be, too.
Honestly think bottom four is pretty likely.
May and Lever have been miles away from their AA form for a couple of years now, Gawn is another year older, Petracca hates being at Melbourne, Oliver is a drug addict, players like Salem, Bowey, Sparrow, Crybaby Loser Petty and a few others have either regressed or failed to improve, coach is cooked.I just can’t see a reason we’ll decline from last season.

I get why you would be negative on the Dees because we truly save our worst footy for when we play Fremantle. They play an ugly style of football and they lack a forward capable of kicking 50+ goals.
JVR looks promising but he isn't there yet. They will finish 9th - 14th depending on injuries and suspensions.
''And I barrack for Melbourne''I get why you would be negative on the Dees because we truly save our worst footy for when we play Fremantle.
I don't disagree with your assessment, however Fritsch has kicked 50+ goals in 2 seasons, and just kicked 40 goals on the back of a poor (half) year by his standards.
Delusional Melbourne supporters will disagree but I think you're on the money.
I went to 17 MFC games live last year, including those 16K crowds at the MCG when most MFC people couldn't be arsed attending so I reckon my opinion holds a bit of credence.''And I barrack for Melbourne''
As if that somehow gives your opinion credence. No, you've just watched footy badly for however long.
Gameplan probably more crucial to scoring than personnel.Particularly our inability to score (#14 in AFL) and I don't see any major changes to our forward line personnel coming into next year aside from internal growth and development. Infact it's getting worse in the first 3 rounds with Pickett out during a time when we desperately need to gain early wins and credibility.
