Hi guys. I wanted to wait until everything had been confirmed, but I'm happy to say I'm going to Arizona with the club this year. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me so I couldn't pass up the chance when it presented itself.

I'm going to be running my own blog/journal of the trip, complete with entries on the build-up - all the training required just to get fit enough to go!

Will answer as many questions as I can, but for now will be writing up my experiences on the first week of training and let you know when it's done.

Sounds exciting. Enjoy the trip.

How many hits will you need on the blog to pay off the $20k cost? I assume @Maxy_5 is looking after you!

Will love to see a clip of you carrying a half dead Eddie going up Humphreys Peak.

More importantly, did you not consider how this would possibly affect your 6 week summer challenge? :p

I do have some plans the The Recovery Session... will see how that pans out...

I'm hoping all this has a MASSIVE affect on the 6 week summer challenge :D You can see why I was keen to get a strict schedule in place!

Oh so jealous !! You lucky 'b'. I would love to do that trip (have to win the lottery though). Do you need someone to carry your bags?

If you stumble and fall into the knees of Pendlebury and make him miss 2012, I will never forgive you. Know that my friend. I look forward to your updates. If possible can you ask Beams whether or not his feud with Barham has subsided now that Beams had him delisted?
