You're talking flags and contention. I'm saying that they've been bottom 4 once since 2000.

They're simply not going to bottom out. At every stage they've replenished their list just enough to be consistently decent. As much as we might wish it otherwise, they're not going to drop off much.

Collingwood also usually have the knack of bouncing back to a top 4 position after missing the top 8 in previous seasons. 2002, 2018, 2022.
