Footy gods must be crazy giving us such let offs this week. Worse thing is if we actually finished the job against at least 2 of GWS, Bulldogs or Adelaide, Collingwood we'd now have a nice buffer where we may have afforded to "experiment" or give a player or two a break before finals.

Footy gods must be crazy giving us such let offs this week. Worse thing is if we actually finished the job against at least 2 of GWS, Bulldogs or Adelaide, Collingwood we'd now have a nice buffer where we may have afforded to "experiment" or give a player or two a break before finals.

If we were 2 games clear right now of third with 6 games to go with 3 of those against North, Eagles and Saints (final round) a depleted Pies, Port in Melbourne (who aren't best travellers) you would hope we could win 3 od those 5 even in a mild slump or experimentation/rest phase. Hawks would be the only game left I'd be saying we have to be playing at our best.

Maybe we are going through a training load and realise our final 6 games may permit us to get a run on, I don't know.. but would much rather use the games to go hard and work on training load.. win... and have opportunity at the tail end to try some stuff out and perhaps throw off opposition scouting in the run to finals.

That Adelaide game was the one , we played better then them, the other 3 games we didn’t bring it and deserved to lose

We had multiple in game injuries that day and they kicked the lights out 16.4
