It is not my fault your experience with the Church went awry. As I have said before, that does nothing to negate the reality of God, and the salvation He gives us through Jesus. When it comes to God, the Creator of all, nothing is impossible or incompatible. We are just too limited to really know.

Arrived at by faith only. A claim of truth by you rests on no objective supporting evidence whatsoever. Hence your claims of 'truth' can be rejected quite comfortably.
been here, done this...
changed lives, personal experiences, testimonies, conversions..they are real, verifiable, factual
I realise you are yet to experience that.

I don't need the verification you do.
I do believe the Bible
You don’t get to make up the rules mate, facts are quantifiable and verifiable.
You don’t get to use the word fact in the context you’re using it in.

Imagine what its like to live with your head in the sand, not wanting to learn anything outside your pastors interpretation of the bible, and viewing the world from that prism.

It sounds god awful. How can anyone be happy living like that?

I believe I did, and it's there for you to read. Fact is maybe too strong a word, admittedly. I should have said, this is what the Bible states as fact.

It's wonderful when the preacher's explanation matches your own. It can be very challenging and eye-opening when it doesn't.
Happiness is living in peace with God, and knowing that you're on the right track.
Unhappiness is knowing there are so many lost sheep out there , like you, backsliders, disgruntled, bad experiences- enough to make people walk away from the truth.

The bible is the claim not the evidence.
There are very few facts in the fairytale you call the bible, even though the Spider-Man fallacy is not a particularly true informal fallacy, using the bible as any form of authority is committing this not particularly impressive fallacy.

Walking away from the truth?
How arrogant and absurd, those that walk away from middle eastern cults are actually walking toward truth.
Christianity is not a cult.
Anyway, you have your ideas as fixed as you think mine are.
Impasse.

Yes it is, it is a human sacrifice, blood and flesh, apocalyptic messianic death cult.
You just don’t know this fact, the rest of us do though.

Your amigos here on this thread?
Say no more. I still hold out hope for you all, and patience is a virtue.

Everyone that isn’t in your cult or any other cult.
That’s the problem with cults, people in them don’t know they are in a cult.

There's barely any part of that sentence that's actually true. Many people walk away from Christianity because they want the truth as opposed to the fools gold that you accept as truth.

I accept that there is God, that the only way to Him is through His Gift to us, Jesus Christ, and that we can have moment by moment relationship with God. To experience that is what it is all about. Those of you who say that does not happen, just reflects that your time has not yet come. But you have started the journey by asking Christians what they believe and why. God is working in your life right now via you having these discussions. You may be militant non-believer right now, but you will look back on this time.

Highly improbable. You're wasting your time here with evangelism or whatever else you're aiming to achieve.

This is how everyone in a cult, trying to recruit others into that cult, talk.
Christianity is a cult.
