Never really had a need for it and I really hate phones.

Worked most of my life answering one and with a home landline, waited until I knew who it was before I answered.

Do most of my searching either on lap or desk top.

Sadly, the VFL site on-line is appalling, slow, clunky, rarely contains the data you're looking for, hard to navigate.

Good thing the club provides great VFL coverage

I think there was even an article somewhere down the bottom that the game happened :thumbsu:

Exactly, I'm home alone tonight and I'm looking forward to sitting back watching the replay of our VFL win in peace and quiet.

So you just want to be Pretty Much Left Alone for Majority of the Time.

Phones are not really phones these Days. They pretty much a Computer with a Phone Built In anyway

Loving the fact Atu is now regularly and reliably having a scoreboard impact.
Good to see him back up his good game vs Dogs with another good one yesterday vs North

His time is now

He will be a better player in the 1s with better players around him and in better conditions

Trust me the kids got the goods and will explode when given a run at it

It's time to be strong at selection and Thomas has to go
It's bad enough he contributes little on the scoreboard
But when he's reluctant to chase tackle and work both ways ,enough

Impey bog or close to it
Sums it up

Him playing is pathetic

I don’t see how Hawthorn having a well-performing indigenous player means that if we promote an indigenous player he will have a similar impact...

... but maybe I’m simply not strong enough.

Que?

I read something and I’m more confused than ever.

Atu is Fijian, not indigenous.

Kicked 5 goals from the past 5 games - 1,1,0,2,1. Not really having a big scoreboard impact for a full time forward?

A goal a game would have him in the top 100 league wide if he could replicate that at senior level. Shouldn't be sneezed at. Doubt he's even close to senior selection yet though.

Could be a Crumber we are Desperate For

Clearly goals are harder to come by at AFL level, 22 goals a year at VFL level is probably 10-15 at AFL level... He still needs to hit the scoreboard more, only kicked 2 or more goals once I think?

He’s a late pick playing in a notoriously difficult position who’s come from a non AFL background. Given the development he’s shown from the start of the year to now I’d say we should all be pretty happy and comfortable with his efforts so far.
He was barely getting a touch early in the year, but over the past months he’s been getting 10+ and a goal a game. He’s going ok for a project player imo.
