I didn't bet that race, watched it and thought Squid would bolt in at the 600 mark. Jockey didn't try at all did he?

pretty happy with the win from ihtsahymn. was a pretty big figure for dirt first up in Broome, looks to be back to his somewhat top on the dirt.

That was very close to the lead by Lieder's standard as he is normally right out the back. He rode to instructions, followed the main danger and eventual winner and was right on its tail. At the 500m mark he was asked for his effort and wasn't good enough.

Darwin Cup day today. Always a good day. Lieder should win the cup from itsahymn and don’t be surprised if Xebec runs a race at odds.

Great run Xebec, nearly got the trifecta if not for Lieder.
