Thinking about it yesterday arvo. Hartnell's party would be spewing it wasn't racing with Winx, with a headstart like that they probably had a chance of cracking the duck!

would mean nothing to either camp. sameish prizemoney, g2's, many excuses and not a grand final for either. she does that in a CP they would be though.

That was the only chance they will get to beat her. Short of her best trip, howling tail wind and she's short of fitness.

If that happens again, Hughie can just take off at the half mile or whenever he wants because she'll be fit enough. Just a superior athlete. Hartnell might've won that race yesterday but that would've been it.

That said, Hartnell's win yesterday was better than it looked considering Willow weighed in about 1.5kg overweight :drunk:

If Hartnell races is Sydney yesterday he wins for sure. Doesn't prove anything other than Winx would have been unlucky and the streak broken

MV is a goat track at times if he is at his best on the day he can steal the race, plus the overseas horses coming over are dam strong if they start..
a few nice 3 year old types coming up atm who if they go that way in the cox plate could be a strong chance to

Zero chance of any horse beating Winx in a CP. It is 4 lengths better than anyone else.

Let me guess you backed Hartnell last year....

could beat winx imo on a goat track hope so jb has turned thr stable around

Lol please leave - has failed to beat her every time there met and average margin of defeat must be approaching 3 lengths. Is actually getting further and further from beating her each time.

What overseas horses are coming? Virtually none from what I've heard - and the European horses aren't much chop at the moment outside the 3yo fillies who will be going for the Arc anyway.

There is no chance he can steal the race as she will be either in front of him or one behind him in running.

Going the 3yo call already shows you have NFI

lol wut - how'd that theory go in the Chipping Norton last year

I agree she is vulnerable to Group 2 horses if she starts 4 lengths after they do.

GO AWAY

Just list all the star Euro's coming down for this edition. Star Europeans and 3yos have really troubled here in the last two editions. :thumbsu:

Anyway you are obviously a massive troll so over and out.

It's the same as last year with everyone backing Hartnell lol

"I'll get a better price for Hartnell"

Ummm

Okay lol

It was almost in the picture when Winx was 10 lengths in front!

Yep. Cant see how anyone could argue anything v Winx in the Cox Plate.

Interesting one for me is the path Hartnell takes. Im assuming he will get 58kgs in Caulfield Cup. Thats a very tough ask but I think Northerly offers a good reference point that a seasoned WFA horse carrying top weight can win.

OShea butchered it last year dead set would have bolted in the Caulfield Cup last year with Hartnell.

At 58kilos it can still win this year but it's a bit tougher

Hartnell is no Northerly. He cannot win the Caulfield Cup with 58kgs and he is running for second spot in the Cox Plate.

Would love to open a discussion on Racing.com.

There has been so much animosity towards it in recent times, not just angry Ralph Horowitz.
Even Richo tweeted saying that he knows "it's not the flavour of the month at the moment"

I can't understand it at all.

Ever since it's inception my viewing and intrigue of horse racing has sky-rocketed.
There's great shows, great characters involved great coverage.
I'm still unsure about the recent studio switch on race day however.
But I still don't quite understand the hatred towards it.
Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.
