Harsh on Turnbull. I am no huge fan but at least he was a successful businessman. Obama was just a "community organiser". It didn't take a genius to see through his hope and change bullshit.

Turnbull will hardly be the messiah either. Every chance to crash and burn due to his arrogance.

Sad for him as his huge ego can only protect him so far. He will forever be reminded of his monumental failure as a PM. Even the fear within the LNP that they didnt want to replicate the behavior of the ALP's PM swapping fiasco, they still did it! What a disaster both these parties have become.

Turnbull continues to react to Labor rather than lead himself. The difference in approach to education was a key difference that Labor would highlight when talking about their vision for innovation in Australia.

They just played some highlights on The World Today. There's hardly any paraphrasing here, but he said this about a potential breakaway right-wing party: "The last thing we need is a rogue party raging against the world".

I don't think he is desperate. He knows his goose is cooked and is doing the bare minimum to stay in the good-books of right-wingers so he gets invited to dinners for the rest of his life. And maybe a board. (I don't know how much talent is in that political camp, but it's SFA if the last 6 years is any guide)

cos she is one of those types that Tones has a pavolv repulsion
