The Locked on Bucks podcast guys are a bit disappointed in Delly and I think thats fair enough
He was good early but has fallen away a bit lately

Not shooting that well. Was always going to be difficulty given spacing differences between milwaukee and cleveland but probably hoping for a little bit more.

Part of the issue is in the clutch bucks are running Delly Giannis pick and rolls..DElly ends up a playmaker in clutch time..not what he has the skills for.
Disappointment probably comes from unreasonable expectations.

He was never going to score a lot or stuff a box score. What he has done has helped take bucks from 23rd defensively to 11th. Teams that can't stop the point of attack are stuffed in today's NBA, he does that

Didn't know why Harry Froling and Tom Wilson not playing at all at SMU

Turns out they've both asked for a transfer
Went there because of the legendary Larry Brown..who is no longer the coach.
Neither were getting many minutes

Be interesting to see where they end up

College is messed up in that a player can be recruited by a coach, only for that coach to leave and go and coach another team immediately, but if the player wants to transfer, because their coach leaves and another comes in who doesn't want them, they often get forced to sit out a year.

That seems to be the least of the NCAA's problems.

Jock Landale leads Saint Mary's to a win over BYU, with 26 points on 11-13 shooting. More impressively, knocked up 6 assists, passing out of the post at will.

Has really lost some weight and looks in great shape, will be a solid professional player.

Just watched this game. He looked pretty good.

St. Marys have 7 Aussies on their roster, including a pair of Jocks!

Deng Adel and Louisville vs. Duke tomorrow.

Will be an interesting matchup for him. Defending Tatum or maybe some Grayson Allen.

To follow up on the Bolden comments he seems to be going well
13 points, 7 rebounds a game in Serbia.

Don't know what the quality of the opposition is like but good to see him playing somewhere

5:30pm Sunday (today) on ESPN2, St Mary's (15-1) vs Gonzaga (16-0). Should be a cracker!
Yet again the Zags have it over the Gaels. :(

Key stats
  • Gaels center Jock Landale fouled out in just 19 minutes, and was held to 10 points and six rebounds.
  • The Bulldogs shot 64.7 percent from the field, and hit 7-of-13 3-point shots.
  • Saint Mary’s was held to 39.7 percent shooting.
  • Gonzaga finished the game on a 21-4 run.
  • Forward Calvin Hermanson was Saint Mary’s high scorer with 12 points.
  • The Gaels have scored only 104 combined points in their two losses this season.

Personal favorite Deng Adel has been pretty up and down this season. I think his stick has probably dropped. Jonah Bolden on the other hand looks like a 1st rounder in the making
