Bicks still refusing to answer whether he has shares in coal... even though I answered his question when he asked it after I asked mine.

I'm going to assume he has shares in fossil fuels until he says otherwise... as why wouldn't he simply quash it?

The term fossil fuels cover oil, gas and coal.

Oil is used in a lot of products, gas is used to create fertiliser as well as power source but coal is the real dirty one, it has very few uses.

Reckon he has investment in coal companies as you state.

Coking coal is used in the production of steel. However, there are other processes which can be used (e.g. using hydrogen) instead. Work is going on to reduce the cost of these alternatives.

A 420-acre swath of state forestland will be cleared for a solar farm near Gaylord under a lease agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, confirmed a top state official.

Officials with the DNR recently assessed 1,200 acres of public trust land in Otsego County near a major power transmission line to decide whether it was suitable for solar arrays. Agency leaders ultimately decided to lease 35% of that land to accompany other adjacent solar projects already in the works.

I put up a story where solar farms can co-exist with sheep & cattle farms... & in fact can double-up as shelter as well as providing another source of income.

Reckon we can do it smartly, including much more industrial roof tops.
