Not a fan of removing jury members or having F3.
Liz needs to start spilling on everything thing George has been saying to her.
Chaos or immunity is her only chance.
Absolutely amazed out how Gerry continues to out dumb himself, just when you think there's no possible way he could get any stupider...he pulls one out of the hat and does it!

Sure, he made it explicitly clear that he cannot make fire and doesn’t think it’s essential to winning survivor and then proceeded to NOT make fire in one (possibly two) challenges for an elaborate ruse.

If he manages to win a fire making challenge it would only be if he’s up against Liz and only because she’s equally s**t at it.

I think it is a ruse. I don’t believe superfan survivor nuffie George would do all that physical training pre second season and yet not learn fire. I reckon he’s been playing it up.

Even though he has literally not been able to do it in a challenge already... Bold strategy.

Also i think the physical training has been a little overplayed. Im sure he hit the gym etc but its not like he showed up jacked and dominating challenges either.

Could be wrong, but he could be playing into his 'useless challenge threat' from his season. It's certainly the one of the major reasons everyone has kept him about. That being said, don't think he's a iron man in training either and easily beatable. But it's not beyond the realms of possibility he's been pulling back a little. For him it's easy to disguise.

At this point im curious about Jury votes and who we think gets what. Ill do two options, one if George is there and one if hes not (mostly cause i assume he gets most if he is there).

Flick - Liz
Shaun - George/Matt
Hayley - George/Liz
Sam - George/Matt
Simon - George/Liz
Nina - Goegre/Liz

George - No idea? Gerry maybe?

Could be, im far from convinced and still think he has next to no chance in the final challenge. Also think he would have next to no chance of winning a fire making challenge (his only hope would be that Liz is worse than he is).

Liz needs to win the final challenge cause shes the biggest threat to Matt outside of George. If George can weasel a move it will be on Matt with the necklace, not Liz. I still think hes screwed from here.

Prior to F4 is drawing rocks for tied votes I think
In a way id prefer rocks here so that George cant convince some idiot like Gerry to send them to fire.

You gotta think if Liz wins immunity thats off the table, Gerry wouldnt be stupid enough to send Matt and George to fire SURELY.

When do they draw rocks? I seem to recall that was another option they used to have for tied votes
Doesn't work at 4 because the two who are tied in votes are excluded from the rocks and with one already having individual immunity it would only be one person left

I get the idea that George was reluctant to piss off Simon if he made the final 3, but for someone that has always been about having keeping all options available to him, and is totally reliant on people bringing him to the end game, it was odd to see him completely box himself into Matt winning to have any shot of making final. I've watched Cirie recently play Traitors US and she was critical of her Survivor end-game play for letting emotions cloud her judgment, and I feel George has done the same. Having said that, he probably still goes out at 4 with Nina.

Gone from a barnstormer of a season to an absolute crawl to the finish line for me.
I wonder if they did a swap earlier than 2 weeks and gave people more time with people from the other tribe, before their usual swap, whether that would create more willingness to play and more fluid alliances, as more of the merged group would've met beforehand. It'll be interesting with them actually casting applicants again, rather than running a full recruit cast, whether that helps or not.

Very disappointed it seems like Aus Survivor is done with the final 2, give me it over final 3 any day. Didn't love this twist, but any non-elim that's not game breakingly bad is good enough for me.
You would've enjoyed a Chrissy-Shaye final tribal last year?

Alright crew, finale night. Whoever wins, let’s keep it respectful, all these guys have given blood, sweat and tears for us.

Hats off to whoever the winner is (even if it’s Gerry) and thanks to every poster in here it’s been a blast.
