What if he lurks here? Could 1 of 2 ways. Really well, or really awkward...which I guess benefits readers of the thread so it really can only go well

Im a teacher in a.... um.... school somewhere in.... Melbourne?

The other day I was asked if I was going out to a group drinks by another.... teacher? at my school?

She (lets just call her Mich) seems a bit of a goer but Im not sure if she has a BF. Hopefully we are the last ones at drinks so I can find out.

And hopefully I dont have to drink too much because Im crap in the sack with a tankful.

Well considering all the guys ive ever asked out has returned a grand total of 0 dates, excuse me if im not that positive :tearsofjoy:
Yeah I understand. Liked sooo many guys , told one, he’s like you’re cool but no thanks. All the others didn’t notice I was alive .

I havent- as in asked out many. Its honestly not that i am picky- its just i havent clicked/had good banter with that many guys. I like to get to know them first too- not just "oh wow she's hasnt slept with you by the 3rd date? Move on" get stuffed.

You probably haven't asked out enough then. I think blokes are more used to rejection than women are, it's a numbers game, the more lines you have in the water the more you'll reel in.

Yep, one of the rules of business, speak to as many 'potential clients' clients as possible - if you have a 10% conversion, speak to 10 people, you get 1 client, speak to 100 you get 10 clients.

Bit more deflating when seeking a relationship though

That blokes are more used to rejection line - I think us blokes just think of the 7+/10 and not the average/ugly ones who get shot down just as much, if not more, than as us blokes.

So you think girls don't aim for the better looking blokes as well?
