Yes, South Melbourne and Fitzroy both played in the a Grand Final - what is the fricken thread about though?? - The Barassi Line - i.e. it will be a Grand Final between two team who are based in the NRL heartland.

Yeah, I re-read the question after answering. Realised now you'd missed 1995, rather than wrongly thinking that 1987 was an AFL-era season. A good trivia question in any case.

It's a milestone, that's for sure. I wonder what the TV ratings will be like compared to some other recent ones. Will the crowd be just as good as last year? Geelong-Sydney and Collingwood-Brisbane both managed to get a true full house of 100,024.

It interesting, the Swans wear a mostly white jumper (red V) when playing away to Brisbane, but both wear their standard home kit when the Swans host.



I'm guessing both will be in their home guernsey next week. Not really any clash to speak of.

We always wear our home kit unless for a special reason. Sydney's home kit does not clash with any other team.
