Scorchers fielding has fallen off a cliff this year.
Misfields galore, dropped a catch and missed about 3-4 run outs.

Connolly was always an average fielder but he's gotten worse

Entertaining match, and that's not due to the cricket being high quality. Complete opposite in fact.
Renegades tried their best to choke but got home in the end.
Should have been over way before that.

It was like watching a close footy match where the score is 7.13 55 to 7.12 54. Exciting end but unwatchable for the first 2 hours

Should've but he made several blues in the field

That’s like saying he he missed a couple of full tosses he could have hit for 6.

Relative to everyone else he was still the best player on the field

That game was too affected by the horrendous condition of the ground. If you are an international player why would you come to play on that

It might have been shit but it’s not the first and won’t be the last game to be played in ordinary conditions.

Hell, an odi World Cup match was played on a field that had a f**king tree in the outfield ffs

Dropped a catch and fumbled a certain runout on the penultimate ball that would've put the number 11 on strike. You'd take it for what he did with the bat and ball but it doesn't change that his fielding can be costly at times.

Isn't the only offender though, the Scorchers fielding as a whole is sub par

on the field no one is getting pilloried for not gathering a well struck drive cleanly. The dropped catch maybe but it was pretty obvious that shot didn’t get to him the way a shot along the ground normally would

I get it but we whinge and bitch about the quality of the competition and about players not coming or leaving early and the ground is dished up in that condition…should be better
