To be fair, Wells did his job tonight

And with 3 overs to go it gives these two absolute freedom to go big and not have to rebuild things

I've got no problem with Wells but wasting a few overs with a couple of tailender sloggers like Brown and JFM is a problem.

At the sokka but based purely off the output then Wells in one innings did more than. Harvey has done for the whole tournament.

My only gripe is that Sutherland is in too late.

If you read my comments from last season I was of a similar mind and wanted him in around the 15/16th over mark

He's someone that can go big when given the chance and put on some quick runs

But I've also found when watching him that if he comes in too early he seems a little lost in how to structure his innings - does he go through a rebuilding phase, knock it around until going big or does he just go big type thing

guess the risk of evans being at 5 is you waste the surge of wells and co which on paper is not great (great knock by wells tonight but)

Can Wells open and play a role similar to what we saw from Marsh over his last couple of seasons with us?

Bring Evans up to 5 and drop JFM to 6

Just open with Seifert
