Wes Agar is going to enjoy bowling at ENGIE for the remaining games. Much dangerous proposition him bowling here than the Adelaide Oval.
Big Wes could go for a bit, but still had the knack of picking up handy wickets. The Strikers could definitely do with him right now.

Thunder have defended totals well in 14
Warners captaining well and Big Wez looks happy at the showgrounds.

Not playing McAndrew or McPie as I call him these last two games has helped.

We may win but someone needs to pull the curators aside here, this pitch is not standard I’m sorry but I’ll say it. I’m not saying I want 200 pitches, but you don’t want an ultra slow wicket where 156 is outstanding.

Geez Sams is a clever T20 bowler.

When he’s not bowling at the death. Finally having Agar/Ferguson bowling at the death has meant him bowling those middle overs. It suits him

Have followed the Gades from day dot but, never again will I pick for SC.
And Maxwell and Stoinas and and and.
Have some pride in performance you over egoed wannabees who think they are.

I know he can field but under what circumstances is Harvey a good selection as a batsman? He can’t hit and won’t bat in the top 4. He’s just Gilkes really at best

I think it's a case that most of our batsmen are set in their selection, and for that last spot it's down to Marcus Harris, Harvey or Wells, though we could also throw in another all-round option in Harry Dixon

They've likely opted to back in Harvey as he's the younger option of the 3 specialist batting options and seen as being part of the future compared with the other two who may be more seen as back up options at best

Wells is one of those slightly frustrating players - at his best he knows how to control an innings, when to go etc but we saw a few times from him last season where he struggled himself to get going with a few single digit scores

Potentially just a toss of a coin for that last batting spot at the moment, but thinking we do need to have a look at our playing 11 as we're very top heavy, relying on too few to carry most of the load at the moment

On this pitch you have to ask why on earth Wells isn’t there this is not a venue where you can get 200. A grinding type of Wells would be perfect.

Wells, Sandhu & Stow are the three from our last couple of 14 player squads to not play a match - thinking we'll see a changed ahead of next match
