Big unit, fairly sure he played full back at the pold, will certainly hold down that spot at Drysdale you'd think. Think he may have also played full forward a few times too, but like i said he's a big boy...

Correct mail there on the Echo, big unit, and a solid KPP, would be most suited down back. Only query would be playing the full quota of matches, did have his injury concerns, but if he can shake that he will be an asset no question.

i think we've had about 70 people show up to drysdale training this year!!

davis (port) trained once, back at port

new players at drysdale though are ahmed ahmet (spelling) from leopold, whats he like??
and leigh clifford has come down this week too!

You could put Clifford down for 50-60 goals off half forward a very good player and will run all day. His about. 6ft but plays about 6ft 4 a very good pick up we will miss him but wish him all the best.

can anyone give me some info on a bloke called jordan symes. think he has played for torquay, heard he is pretty big, that is all i know about him. cheers in advance

Rumour coming out of Geelong Ammos is that for their pre season instead of the conventional warm up of a few laps for training they stay inside and look in a mirror for 10 minutes and tell themselves how good they are.

Symesy is a big unit and can play some decent footy but hasnt really been commited the last few years. Top bloke aswell. Have Birchip bought that car for the boys yet?? May have to trade it in for a tarago mate:D

Gladman would be a good addition for the Dinos. Got limited game time with Queenscliff but if they can have him and potentially Lee Morrison floating around in that forward line it gives them two very viable options. I'm not sure if the odds are out yet, but I get the feeling Drysdale will be favourites with the bookies. I however would say that Ammos are probably favourites again with the off-season they have had.

Yeah will be a handy pick up Tim, provided he gets to play whichever position he likes and when he likes to come off the ground. Selfish player in it all for himself...

Newcomb have picked up a few including;

Craig Morrison
Dean Gladman
David Timms
Daniel Singleton
Liam Rennie
Ash Lewis
Ty Lothian
Mark Lane
Scott Evans
Glenn Drought
Marcus Draught
Jason Drake
Matty Coverdale
Jamie Coverdale

Also heard a few possibles in; T.Salta, A.Salta, A.Fergusson, L.Morrison

and with Mark Buckingham and Alan Jamieson possibly playing again, where will they finish? I'd say bottom 2 or 3 but others may think otherwise. Thoughts?????

Marcus Drought back os and was going to play for St.Albans anyway.
T Salts undecided if playing again.
A Salts doubtful but only needs one more game to rack up 100 games at the club.
L Morrison staying at Newtown. Wants another crack after kicking 50 or so goals and 60 or so points in a tough year for him off field.
Jammo and Bucko staying.
That's what I've heard!

so the power are excited about recruiting a qcliff reserves player ? long past his use by date.

Who is going to kick all the goals for the Grubbers now that Froggy Breguet has gone to North Geelong? $500 a game and the Grubbers couldn't match it!
