Another Melbourne first round death ride ?
Was a roller coaster this year. Not sure I’d want us to do that again

still think Essendon will go for brown as a Daniher replacement
or the pies will finally get a full forward
my smoky is the cats, have someone partner tomahawk
No as in I don't see us trading another first rounder, this year also brought up some questions about Brown.
Has he been worked out? Was it just because of North being poor? Was it all injury?
There's too many questions for mine to give up a first round pick.
Pies could have used Brown tonight..
First rounder please.
He wouldn't have got a touch, ball didn't go near their forward line much.
Not sure Brown would have helped. We couldn't get our hands on the ball and wouldn't have been a lot of opportunities for him either.
We need to work on our centre clearance connection before we worry about our forward line.
We'll swap it for your 2021 pick #19
Isn’t Barrett a North supporter? It feels like he can’t stand the idea of Brown possibly going to Collingwood so he keeps throwing out other club names in hope they’ll agree with him and take a crack.
A Lions insider has been reported as saying Brown won't be considered because he doesn't fit our playing style.
He's perfect for your game style sit him full forward and let him lead for it, Hipwood CHF.
So what you really are saying in a round about way is who ever ends up with Brown wont be winning games. Time will tell i suppose.I've been saying for weeks all over this forum, that there's few sides whose playing style Brown does suit.
For him to be productive, you've got to direct a high volume of ball his way, and that's a pretty antiquated and easily countered gameplan in today's footy, and isn't really conducive to winning games.

Happy to compare wooden spoons over the last 50 years. Flags as well.
Not sure you have watched him play. No, on telly doesnt count unless it's only on a behind the goals camera. Not with the style of play that allows him to put up those 60 goal seasons.
He doesn't do it on individual brilliance. It's the product of an antiquated gameplan that's not conducive to winning football, and he hasn't ever proven himself to be effective outside of that type of system and style of play.
In other words, we have a tight cap and can't afford him.Nathan Buckley pretty much ruled out Ben Brown last night in the presser saying they aren't looking for the big forward type. Melbourne/Essendon at this stage.
Nope, what other team has that type of forward? not many. If we wanted him, we would get him.In other words, we have a tight cap and can't afford him.
We have gone for Dixon, Kennedy and Gunston. Would they come cheap enough to fit in our "tight cap"?In other words, we have a tight cap and can't afford him.
So which one of them is going to Collingwood? We have gone for Dixon, Kennedy and Gunston. Would they come cheap enough to fit in our "tight cap"?
Why do you care, when you can have Danger, Neale and Dixon all coming and still end up bottom 4??So which one of them is going to Collingwood?
I hope your other 5000 odd post have been more educated than this one.Why do you care, when you can have Danger, Neale and Dixon all coming and still end up bottom 4??

Not that it would matter since North supporters lack the most basic comprehension skills to understand anything remotely "educated".I hope your other 5000 odd post have been more educated than this one.
