They've never been important enough for Cousins to get his act together before now, why would that change? For all the victim blaming of his ex for being stalked there are some obvious steps Cousins could take but instead he continues to make the same mistakes. He won't magically start now.

He'd get offered drugs non stop as everyone "wants to party" with Cousins. He's got good family around him but his environment doesn't help him at all.

Probbly not if I’m being honest , but staying in an environment that has created and enabled his drug issues isn’t the most logical thing to do imo. Most addicts tend to leave that sort of environment to remove themselves from what they know and start fresh elsewhere.

But obviously I’m not an expert or have any intimate details on Cousin’s situation I am only stating an opnion from afar.

He looked good and like he had put a fair bit of weight back on in the last phot I saw of him. I hope he's only gone to ground to solidify the positive changes he's made in his life. Good luck to him. I bloody hate being around people on the gear, you can usually pick it from a mile away but once some one has put their hand up and asks for help, I think we're obliged as human beings to give them a fair go. Unless you are one of the people who has suffered from their actions, it's a bit harsh to write them off without giving them a fair crack. Ben was once a decent and capable contributor to our society, I personally hope he is able to be that person again.

MIA for over a month, it was a condition of his parole that he stays employed for 3 months after being released from prison. As soon as the 3 months were completed he went AWOL

You have to be kidding. How do you reckon any other drug user would go with the media following them around day & night and sifting through their garbage, personal life, who they're seeing at the moment etc.?

People assume he has major issues because the media tell them that. For all we know Ben is perfectly happy and content with his place in the world.

lol, has literally had violence restraining orders, then went to prison for breaching by continued stalking. By definition of the law, and conclusion by a magistrate, he is indeed a threat to those around him. hardly a stereotype.
