He's EASILY better than Murphy and McHenry

At the end of the day the great enjoyment is that guys like Bearded Clam are going to keep blowing steam from their ears every week because he is not getting dropped anytime in the foreseeable future and probably gets another couple years at the end of next year too.

Once again for the life of me I don't get why fans of their own team can dislike someone so much who is really a very good role player and managed to carve out a meaningful role for himself after the 30 touches in the midfield wasn't enough.

Whenever he has the ball, he's such a boner killer.
All this stuff about Greene, Heeney, Bolton blah blah blah, they don't countlessly ruin momentum of a forward play when they get the ball.
Keays with the ball has cost us a certain goal at least 15 times this year, a lot of them in close games which if we won has us pushing top 4.

Would disagree over the last 8-10 weeks. Has he done that before? Absolutely. But have noticed a lot of the time now he just goes the simple long bomb that has become relatively accurate. Once again speaks volumes to the coachable role player aspect that will keep him around for a long time. Ryan Lester-like in a way

Yes and I think the most invested people in the team outside of the club are on this board.
If you want to take the view of the average demographic of our fans that’s up to you.

If you can’t acknowledge there’s a reason why he’s polarizing there’s no point discussing anything as it just shows you can’t accept he can be a horrible user/decision maker at times.
The game where he was streaming forward and kicks it out of bounds sums him up, given he probably had done some other nice things prior.

Why did Brisbane get rid of Hinge? Why did we get rid of Lyons? It’s almost as if sometimes it doesn’t work out at a certain club for a player and they then find a team that suits them better and gets the best out of them
