Happy for Ben Ken. (as long as he doesnt perform like that against us... Or if he does as long as Melbourne loses again).

But nothing he does from here changes where he was at last year, and that when he wanted to leave we probably didnt have too much of a desire to convince him otherwise.
He would not have pushed into our midfield. That is even more evident with Treloar and Aish here, and the ongoing improvement of De Goey, let alone guys like Ramsay, Oxley, Crisp etc. He also never showed he could be a decent small forward when with us.

Also didnt get a real chance

Thought he looked good against gokd coast one nte
He had his moments. Was actually pivotal for us coming on as the sub in the last qtr of the QB clash last year. We were getting smashed in the middle and he came in and got 9 disposals including a bunch of clearances.

He always got a bum rap on this board. Glad he's found his mojo.

So what? He went backwards after that. Seedsman won the Anzac Day medal and I was happy to see him go too.

So he had potential, and I believe the club had a big hand in stuffing up his development. No player can be used perpetually as a sub then dropped back to the VFL without a sustained run at senior level without taking a hit to their confidence and stunting their development. He's showing exactly what he's capable of now, and it looks like you, and a bunch of others on this board were wrong about him.

No-it means Kennedy failed to meet the required standard when he was with us. He wouldn't have been a sub all the time if he had performed better and demonstrated the ability to run out a full game. His kicking skills were poor when under pressure. I even saw him in a couple of VFL games where he won a lot of possessions but butchered the ball. I'm glad he has found form at Melbourne but cannot find fault with the decision to move him on.

You win some you lose some.

Kennedy didn't show much when at the pies so its a bit of hindsight in saying that it was a bad move.

We are still yet to see Howe play so we don't know yet.

I don't think BenKen would even get the same opportunity at the pies as he is now currently at the dees. Good on him for having two ripper games so far
