AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Maiden gully 3rds will most likely play in the bfl, filo and monfries coaching already makes the step easier, short term pain for real long term gain for the club I'd think. 3 years time, they can be strath
Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the instance of maiden gully you’re advocating for a club who finished bottom in seniors in 2023,and don’t have a thirds side to make the step up to a major league that is albeit a shadow of its former glory?
Maryborough about to go down same path as Corowa-Rutherglen?
Bit off topic, but has the AFLCV commission lost a few?Was there a crisis meeting held tonight ?

Goulburn Valley very poorly run. A few massive mistakes in the past few years, very unorganised.Forgive my ignorance, seen plenty of mentions of AFLCV in here - is BFL administered by the AFL same as Goulburn Valley or run by its own administration? Seems that leagues run by their own employees are getting better gates and engagement from what I've seen. Obviously doesn't mean any better standard of football but leagues under their own administration seem to be running smoother from what I've seen & articles I've read along with comments around forums/socials etc.

Only reference I’ve seen is this: “Promising efforts from recruits such as Tom Toma and Ayui Making were positive takeaways for Caracella and his coaching group, who looked to experiment with their newer players around the ground.”How did he go?
Have no firm understanding what happening here, but commissions, when they were established, had a max term an individual could serve before they had to get off.Bit off topic, but has the AFLCV commission lost a few?
Heard the other day Holt and Harrington have both stepped away.
Also haven’t heard anything about Armsteads replacement.
That would make sense as I’m pretty sure Harrington and Holt were founding members.Have no firm understanding what happening here, but commissions, when they were established, had a max term an individual could serve before they had to get off.
Both were founding members. Reckon it began 2007 so 16/17 years is a fair stintThat would make sense as I’m pretty sure Harrington and Holt were founding members.
