From the HDFL thread, Mounts very confident on signing a 2009 premiership square player as coach.

My understanding is Mick Bateman might be the man, told by someone inside the club they in talks with him and offering big money. But this is the rumour season!

Well, you had a 50/50 guess at it and got it wrong. Out of the two that were mentioned on the thread it isn't Bateman they've been chasing. And if the other guy does get it there is apparently a chance that he could attract a couple of 2010 Square premiership players across too.

PHIL Carroll leaving the Bloods to head back to Shepp. United in the GVFL

Is this a fact, boys ??

Early days being October and all, but from alot of whispers re: a mass exodus of players from both Sth Bendigo and Eaglehawk in 2011, could it be possible that two of the top three sides from this season fall right away next year? Would be a rare happening....

The Burra obviously have a few financial woes, and maybe for South they have just reached a point where theyve gotten close so often players dont feel they can take the next step?

Whatever the case, massive opportunities youd imagine for middle of the ladder types like Sandhurst, Storm, Flat and Maryborough to challenge Golden Square (who would prob be $1.05 flag favourites if betting was opened now!)

With Filo to coach Kyneton and Saunders to coach Gissy you would expect these 2 teams to improve significantly. 2011 could be the the most even the league has been in a long time - aside from Golden Square.

Thats a pretty good team except Replace Barham with either Metrovic or Tyrell

Josh Bowe been seen eating Lunch with the Golden Square coach on Thrusday with alot of paper around!!!

I take it Golden Square arnt happy with where there at an want even more domination..

And Eaglehawk might as well just go to the worst league in Victoria becasue there, effed losses from this year senior side

B.Heardman
K.Robbins
D.Lock
D.Filo
M.Dole
E.Massinna
J.Bowe

and sure to be many more

Doesn't seem to be massive talk getting around on the league atm. Golden Square would be sitting back at the moment enjoying some quiet time, and knowing that they are sitting in a super spot to claim a hat trick of flags. Doesn't seem to be too much coming at them in terms of challenges although it's still pretty early.

Wilson will be giving the Storm a full shake up and heard he has plenty on the go. They will prob jump into the top 4 I'd say.

I think we can keep most of our guys and if we can get a quality coach and a couple of good recruits around then we could improve on this year which panned out in dissapointing fashion.

Seems to be......all Ive heard (not sure if reported anywhere so bare with me) is that Lee Coghlan maybe headed to a WAFL side for next year. Also Bryce Curnow has been creating interest (as you would expext after getting trapped in no mans land during the finals) prospective clubs being told he is "over the line" at Strathfieldsaye....

... That might get in the way of his partying!!! Where's Dole headed? Is Coates staying?

Quite a few there who would be more considered stars of the 90's. No room for J.Bond???

Am hearing that this year Travis Baird is over the line to Golden Square. Lee Coghlan is not actually singed sealed to play in WA, is going to train and, well, suck it and see I guess....Nathan Bell sounds like is off to QLD with the girlfriend....Big loss to the league.

I'm pretty sure Josh Bowe is going to play a few games up in Darwin ... I have never seen him play but I have heard he goes alright?
