l. cooke tall rooster plays KP
mainly used by nude nut houston at CHF

Snake Graham was a pretty handy player early 2000s .... would have a bit of age on him now, tho

Doesn't seem to be massive talk getting around on the league atm. Golden Square would be sitting back at the moment enjoying some quiet time, and knowing that they are sitting in a super spot to claim a hat trick of flags. Doesn't seem to be too much coming at them in terms of challenges although it's still pretty early.

Wilson will be giving the Storm a full shake up and heard he has plenty on the go. They will prob jump into the top 4 I'd say.

I think we can keep most of our guys and if we can get a quality coach and a couple of good recruits around then we could improve on this year which panned out in dissapointing fashion.
Snake Graham will be a quality non playing coach Dragon Fly but we do need to recruit to improve. If it is true Mal Borchard has retired he will be greatly missed. Over the years I loved his runs out of defence - I guess the icing on the cake was a strong performance at centre half back against Gisborne in the 2004 grand final.

Like John Hardinge at South he will 'take a lot of replacing'.

To say that Coghlan, Borchard and McGee are huge losses for Sandhurst is an understatement. There goes their Centre, CHF/CHB and FB. Talk about going to take some replacing, maybe Sandhurst will finally have to splash some cash to replace these players who were critical to their structure.

A lot of clubs taking important hits.

South and Eaglehawk to lose a plethora of important players that most have already heard about. Bell at Square is a big loss if true but they should be fine.

Strath have lost Cameron and Brenton Hall as well as their bum buddy Adam Thompson out to Birchip.

Kangaroo Flat have lost a few and I can tell you they are most certainly going to lose 2 or 3 more that have not yet been announced.

There will certainly be some new faces running around in BFL seniors in 2011.

Nathan Bell is staying at the square.

Only 2 guys leaving from last years premiership side are Anthony Holdstock (to play with his brother) and Aaron Hawkins (retired).

Recruited Travis Baird plus plenty of guys from 2009 and 2010 under 18 premiership sides ready to step up.

Other sides may as well save their money for a rainy day.

Would like to take this opportunity to thank Hawk for his services to the club, ultra professional who deserves dual premiership on his cv.

Bring on season 2011!!!!! Look forward to winning a few more slabs this yeah, bahaha bahaha!

Yeah the feel seems pretty good around the place about the appointment so it's all roads ahead hopefully we can land those quality types we need to get up amongst the big boys.

Holmesy is a good get as Assistant and there would be a chance he could lead us to a recruit or too.

You mention John Hardinge your right he will be a massive loss for South always marvelled his talents when he played against us and Elmore must be tickled pink.
But what about toss Wal Teasdale from the radio weeks ago declaring weeks ago on air that he was going to YCW as Assistant Coach. Time to give it away I think. Let big Bri Mansbridge take the reigns.

The J Hardinge to YCW thing isn't that far fetched Dragon Fly. Hardinges brother in law has been involved there for years and he was a sniff of a chance. Just goes to show how important getting facts right is.

I heard tonight from a couple of sources that Hardinge has signed at Elmore.;)

Would one of those sources be the Addy, because it was back page news today? Reckon it would be pretty official by the time it's printed word there - although they have jumped the gun before I think they're pretty safe on this one.

Wal T is proabably going to Lexton with fisher. He is plundering Maryborough's young list with open cheque book.

Is he just? Who else has he got, and how much are they being paid? I think the entire MCDFL league is pillaging Maryborough's stocks for for the chance to be biggest fish in the smallest pond.

With all coaching appointments now complete, will we hear any rumours or official signings anytime soon. With the country clubs all appointing favourite son's as coach for 2011 - Aston, Filo, Saunders, Eyles - will this see a return of these sides to their glory days each of these coach's have been a part of?
Maineman, Fatman/Davis24, KA (if your still alive), anyone from Maryborough able to shed any light on what's happening at each of your clubs - ie/ feeling around the town, recruits or prospective recruits/returning players, reserves/18's coachs etc etc.

Could the country power dismantle the city slickers for positions 2-5 in the 2011 season (given square to start at 1.01 to three-peat?)

- eat my footy shorts -

Still here Bart! $1.01 sounds spot on for Sqaure - really looking to people posting a ladder for 2011. 2-5 is a raffle and any a lot of teams that missed in 2010 could jump up and take a spot. Gis have a couple of kids from the RDFL and maybe a couple of ex players coming back to help out Saunders. No need to go silly next year as the budget to catch Square is not possible for most - if not all teams.

Funny I am posting to someone currently on TV - love your show!

Square would not have been the biggest spending club in the last 2 seasons though. Or are you just stating that for others to catch them for quality would be too big?
