Curnow is great for the medium sized inside mids like Ablett and Cotchin.

He can also do a great job on the outside runners but Curnow doesn't have the strength to stop a Watson, Fyfe or Pendlebury unfortunately.
I think I read somewhere that Whiley did a pretty good job on Pendlebury when he was given a tagging role so maybe he is an option for the bigger guys.

Wouldn't mind Daisy starting around CHB and let Docherty roam around the half-forward flank, Doc kicked a couple of neat goals last season, whereas unfortunately he made a couple of costly turnovers down back last season.

Daisy certainly seems more comfortable playing further down the ground as well, in my opinion.

B: Buckley, Jamison, Jaksch
HB: Yarran, Rowe, Tuohy
C: Simpson, Gibbs, Docherty
HF: Walker, Henderson, Thomas
F: Menzel, Casboult, Jones
R: Kreuz, Murhpy, Judd

I/C: Curnow, Cripps, Everitt, Graham

Bloody hell that was tough. I've named Jaksch on the field, but I think initially that position will be Simon White's with the aim for Jaksch to take the third tall by seasons end. Carrazzo, Whiley, Sheehan, Smith, Boekhorst, Tutt, Bell, Wood could easily all be named.

I think we're going to do a lot better than most people expect. I've heard doom and gloom on the main board because we lost Jarrad Waite , but that forward line is very classy without having a dominant star forward.

It's pretty clear we need more midfield rotations, so Docherty, Thomas, Yarran, Buckley and Menzel will need to be able to provide that.

Liking how the side looks with some new blood and a focus on players with quality disposal.

Brilliant. Would genuinely be a team with great disposal there. Even has a great spread of youth and experience. As unlikely as it is, it's very exciting :)

Nice. But what happens when the ******* hitting starts?

Think the side could do with the likes of Tuohy, Sheehan and Clem in the team.

Can ppl name the 6 or 7 players that they left out also. Like reading the teams but it's hard to rack the brains to see who you've left out.

Fair bit of depth there. Competition for spots in the team is always a good thing.

Graham and even Armfield feel a little left out......as would Jaksch (even though I don't think he's good to go)
I tried to limit the list. Jaksch I forgot about, Graham I don't rate (sorry to all those Graham fans... Hope I'm wrong), and Armfield hopefully will never get another game in the AFL.

This team will be decided by the better kicks getting games over their competition.

Sheehan, Jamison, Jaksch
Yarran, Rowe, Simpson
Docherty, Judd, Buckley
Walker, Henderson, Thomas
Casboult, Jones, Menzel
Kreuzer, Gibbs, Murphy
Everitt, Graham, Boekhorst, Tuohy

It's a flanker heavy side but only the talls except Jam and Jaksch are bad kicks. It's also not impossible that Watto makes his way into the side for Jones or Cas. Could be Hawthorn like efficient.

Henderson's a better kick then Jamo.

In terms of consistent reliable kicks I wouldn't even have Gibbs in my top 5...he's a beautiful kick but gets lazy with it sometimes.

Henderson is consistently good with his kicks for a big guy but Judd for me almost always puts it in the best spot. Watson can have massive brain fade kicks in defense as we've seen so I'll have to see more.
