i think a midfield spot beckons
Not sure he has the midfield ability at the moment, does not know how to find the ball enough.
He really needs to work on his ability to get to a contest, touching the ball 10 times a game is not enough.

May have been referring to early openers - pubs that had special licenses to open earlier than others to cater for shift workers and chronic alcoholics. They were known as early doors. How it came to mean a premature assessment is beyond me.
Something to do with players who couldn't "Break on Through" to get into the side.

Talls should never be kicking under pressure. Balls has too far to drop. I suspect when Jamison has time hes a great kick, just not under the pump.
Mate, we would just be guessing using the same info you have. Boekhorst does have a more mature body and was probably recruited to come into the team as a priority, but it's still anyone's guess. We have a fairly healthy list at this stage (sorry in advance to the superstitious...) and Malthouse doesn't usually throw young players to the wolves en mass. It wouldn't be a surprise to me if none of our draftees for 2014 played for a little while, but my money would be on Boekhorst being the first of them to play.
If you want a dream team smokey, jump on the Cripps train. It's leaving from The Extractor St Station non-stop to Starsville. Price is sure to rise unless you buy an early-bird fare

Watched Rnd 23 vs Essendon*; Bell fired. Reckon he's in our best, after another pre-seas I think he'll add a lot alongside Gibba, Juddy, Whiley and the emerging Cripps.
