I have a MASSIVE scrapbook of the 1947 football season that my father compiled. It covers both VFL/VFA/NTFA (Northern Tasmanian Football Association) competitions weekly for the complete season, with just about every bit of footy related news from several newspapers. Each page measures about 50 cm across by 40 cm down, it looks like he used the old butchers' paper or similar from the time. From memory there are 4 pages (counting front and back as 2 pages) devoted to each week.

What makes it even better is that both my sides won that year - North Launceston in the NTFA and the Blues in the VFL (by a point over Essendon).

It's priceless, if it doesn't stay in the family I will need to try to find somewhere to donate it to so it can be preserved and kept for future historical reference.
