I still cringe seeing him on Winmar in 97 GF.

Luckily it didnt hurt us. But that Winmar goal early after Edwards fell over and fumbled the ball happend all too often early on.

One to make in 5 or 6 years time is McLeod V Rankine (assuming he moves virtually full time into midfield) as he is the only player on the list with the skillset A McLeod has.

That game will live with me forever. That morning my, grandfather died and by half time I was just thinking about how shit life is. That win has stuck with me. I watch it in tribute to him at least once a year. And the following GF win against the Saints.

what I found interesting about this was Tyson's B&F record compared to Scott Thompson. Who it felt like was our best player for years and carried the midfield. Tyson played among the best midfield group we ever had, and despite not winning a b&f, seems to have exceeded Thommo's record based on 1 point for 5th and so on (22 v 20). I don't think Edwards is underrated, just wondering if Thommo's contribution is a touch overstated.

It’s not too much of a stretch to say No Rehn = No premierships.

That’s how important he was.

We all love Mods but what TF are you all smoking?

Mods was great and is a great but Rehn was a refreshing change from the Romano Negris of the world.

Without the knee injuries he’s a top 10 player of all time he was that good. With the knee injuries he dragged us to 2 flags.

If Tim English was as good as Rehn, Bucks would be on board with the FA chase.
