There's not much footage of Robbie Flower considering he played in terrible teams for the most part. The 1963 & 1964 Grand Finals are also conspicuous by there absence (although newsreel footage exists of '64 and about a quarter and a half of '63 from memory).
1962, 1963 and 1964 wiped unfortunately.

1977 Round 6

Hawthorn 25.41 (191) vs St.Kilda 16.7 (103)

66 vs 23 scoring shots.

41 behinds?!?!???

Did the fullback get a sore foot kicking out the ball all the time? Does he get at least 41 kicks in the stats?

I haven't checked but I think that's still the most scoring shots in a game ever. Imagine if they'd kicked straight.

Pretty impressive to be beaten by 9.34 too.

and imagine what an exiting this game from 1928 could have been if Fitzroy could have kicked straight.

Amazing round of football all around. Both Carlton and Essendon lost by 100 points, and no footage of any game that day as far as I am aware. The Blues 7.8 against Collingwood (22.20) was the lowest score of the round by a whopping 39 points, and illustrates how Carlton missed the finals in 1977 for the last time until 1989. They had too much trouble scoring throughout a great deal of that season, sometimes even when winning games, as against North and Geelong at home.

The fullback would not get 41 kicks in the statistics, I am sure!

The 66 scoring shots is a clear record by six. The next most is 60 by Carlton against Hawthorn in Round 2 of 1969, a performance which really could rank as the best ever without or may even with footage given that Hawthorn won their next six games.
