I get far more annoyed by the TV commentators.

Cornes can be a dill…but I think he believes what he says…and USUALLY makes sense.

Sometimes his presumption slaps him in the face.
No he doesn't. It's just contrived clickbait.

He represents everything that's wrong with how footy is reported nowadays - just wall-to-wall negativity.

Well,I guess we have different perceptions of his honesty. I don’t disagree he baits people on talk back radio - but on other forums I think he believes what he says - but I don’t know him well enough to argue over it.

For the love of all things good, stop consuming industry news, people. It is the worst form of journalism, and just absolute nonsense which will only continue for as long as people take notice of it. Trade rags should be for people in the trade, not general consumers. The second you hear the phrase: "It's been reported..." or "sources say..." or "club officials...", switch off fast, what will come next will just make you angry and hate football.

Cornes has some fantastic insights into the game of football, however, he is absolute trash when he steps into industry news, as is anyone who peddles in that domain. It's not him, it's the nature of industry news. It is sensationalist, rage-farming click-bait trash on par with those trashy magazines everyone bags yet somehow keep selling.

Trust me, take it out of your life, and your enjoyment of footy will sky rocket!

A lot of what he says is verbal clickbait but there’s no doubt that he is, relative to the average ex player, articulate and listenable.

The machine gun monotone that a lot of them adopt is grating.

Jordan De Goey is dating a former big brother housemate (Aisha). She moved to Melbourne to be with him months ago and, given his profile and the interest in his private life, I'm very surprised it hasn't come out in the media (or maybe I'm just too old and TikTok has been rife with it for months?!). They've now bought a house in the country together. Jordy settling down a good thing or a bad thing for his footy?!

He’s actually interesting to listen to

Kane has admitted he sometimes adds 10%, but for the most part he genuinely gives his opinion.

If he’s so wrong how come Channel 7 just offered him a 800k per year deal ??

Maybe you should direct your criticism towards Andrew Russell and why your whole team is injured at the pointy end of the season ..
Sam Walsh can hardly run !!

Pretty sure he adds to 10% to the 1% he’s scraped from the change room floor

Smells of desperation. If I was Elliot I’d be exploring my options.

As for the two metre tw#$, he’s the type that will get rubbed out for the GF.
That’ll be done by round 24 as a team.
