MY TOP 5 (In no particular order)

(1) Under 17 Preliminary Final 1999, 1st season at age 15 and shut one of the other mob's prime movers out of the game.

(2) Under 16 Preliminary Final 2000, even though we did get beaten I played at full-back and stopped a number of attacks and goals. I also got decked in the last quarter.....

(3) 2004 last round in the 2's. Kicked 2 goals including a goal that put us in front in the last 1/4. Other mob managed to get in front and I had one last crack at the win after taking a strong mark. Long kick from near the boundary 50m out fell 2 metres short.

(4) 2006 senior match mid season. Came off the bench in the 2nd quarter and found the ball a few times playing CHF. Got the last goal of the game too.....by that stage they'd kicked 30!

(5) 2007 senior match late in season. Played as one of about 5 loose men in a side that only had 16 players. Got kick, after kick, after kick as we went sideways, backwards, forwards, backwards. Then I got a massive cramp in my right leg and got carted off on a stretcher, only to return after the mandatory 20 minutes to get a few more touches!

um this year i got 15 votes in one game in our under 16's b and f ...
(our club does 3 people to vote out of 5)

what was your best game ever south swans

Under 12's semi final vs beverly Hills.

I was in everything. Even our gun team mate, and best player in the age division had to take a back seat to me that day. i just ran and ran through the guts all day. We won by one point in dubious circumstances (the goal umpires had to have a count back)

After the game the coach said something like "we wouldn't have won today without him" and i was applauded by the whole team and parents in the locker rooms, and ultimately, we won the grand final the next week. My performance saw me get the Best Finals Player award in our back to back premiership season.

That was the high point, it was all down hill from there :D

Probably my best game was not in footy.

Got into the grand finals for indoor soccer and played with a screwed up ankle. We were 1 up at half time, then they caught up to us and it finished after extra time at 3:3. Went into penalties and since I was injured the coach did not let me have a kick at the start. They went through the team, almost everyone missing so in the end I had to take a shot. Took the ball, slotted it in the bottom right hand corner and the rest is history :D. My first and only premiership win. Even after all that, I still didn't get the bloody man of the match, our stupid goalie got it. Then again his dad was the coach. This was back when I was like 13 or something.

I've also kicked 3 goals (afl) playing off half back. Which was pretty cool, also got sandwiched when the player behind me bumped me into someone running the opposite way. That took the wind out of me for a while, lucky it wasn't more serious. We ended up winning ;)

And lastly a school match, where my friend won us the game by kicking a goal after the siren (Which put us through to the finals). Great game.

I got it on with 3 of the 5 cheerleaders after 1 game.

Well, it was after drinks after one finals game that we won actually. My form was absolutely unbelievable. I certainly gave it to them that time! The touches were all well earned :thumbsu:

Hmmm...remember a game against our rivals for the flag a few yeas back where were kicked 10 for the day and i got 5 of them off a flank. Fun day, and we got up.

I played little league at a cats game and i guess the guys felt sorry for me being a chick and all, so let me play full forward. I got 8 goals and met Gary Ablett Snr after the game and told him all about it :D

Well it was only Under 12's but seing as everyone else is saying these games I will.

I kicked 10 goals and had approx. 35 disposals playing in the centre against some team who we killed 34.10.214 to 1.2.8 in about 50 minutes of footy.

I also played as an overage player (by 3 months) and got over 40 touches in all of my games. My best game was when I got approximately 45+ possessions and kicked 4 goals (gave a few off ;)) in three quarters of footy. Once again, this was only in the Under 12's.

I also played a club practice match last week (Under 15's, 4 days too old to play Under 14's ) and kicked 10.4 playing as an on-baller. However, this game was played on a smaller than average field.

Mid way through the 2nd playing on a back flank for Mansfiled. I think it was against Congupnah in the then Tungamah leage in the thirds. I was on on my own on the fifty area after we cleared the ball. Was a quick rebound from our attack and it went down the other side of the ground to a two on one against deep in the opposite pocket. I ran from the fifty to the goals. After they won the ball at the spill the full forward was waltzing into goal but he looked over his left shoulder instead of his right to see if anyone was chasing him. I tackled him in the square just as he was about to kick the goal. I landed on the goal side of the post. He went to the point side but he was on my leg and my knee was the fulcrum. Didn't play the rest of the game but got an award for $5 at Betalies bakery or something else equally crap.

Waaaay back in the day in juniors I kicked 10 in a match from full forward, and dished off a bunch more, including one on the goal line because some of the other players wanted a go. We won 200 odd to 7 or 8.

Of course the other side were a few players short. How many? 12. Rather than lend them players we played 18 against 6 because we needed a percentage boost to make the finals. It was a massacre. Utterly embarrassing to be a part of (although being FF at least I had an opponent all day).

Had been racking up the high 30 touches every game for the year but in round 10 this year i finally cracked the 40 barrier...I thought I would ring me mate and let him know about it, only for him to tell me he got 62 possies the day before for north adelaide's U17s. I knew the kid was a freak but that to me is absolute bull s**t. But i won the association medal and he didnt so i got the bragging rights until next year :thumbsu:

Under 9's 2 goals, one quarter was our whole teams score against Claremont, took a decent one handed mark though it was more of a fluke mark then anything else, went back kicked the goal.

Most memoerable game would have been when I played up a couple of grades in the finals, our team had too many players so many we had a rotation policy that saw players miss our regardless of how good they were. So me and 2 others played for the Under 14s (I think, maybe have been a different grade.) who were missing a few players because of injury and school holidays.

Managed to get some of the ball and gave off a kick to some kid who never scored a goal before, he goaled and his mother was glad to see her son kick a goal it would seem, they won the flag that year.

I wanted to stay in that age group and play under that coach, but I was too young to be in the side and had to go back to our coach who never went to the coaches meetings, or anything and didn't know where or who we were playing most of the time.

Really good coach that one.

Hmmm after being on the grog all night, rucked a whole U17 game, got a ton of ball, kicked a guy in the throat (self defence), ump saw it and gave me a 'warning'. Got 3 votes of him also.

Funniest game was when we kicked 50 goals to one the next year. We were all lining up that day. Also when our full forward flopped his more than ample chop out at an oppostion coaches wife who happened to be a bikie. Suffice to say he was not happy.

I guess the time an oppostion player was mouthing off through the week (it got back) about how many of our players he was taking out (he had snagged our captains Girl friend). He lasted 10 seconds, I think 7 of us got him at the first centre bounce and their full back ran off the ground with our FF in hot pursuit.

Ahh the memories and yes we were friggen crazy.
