My little theory to this if true is Stephenson told team mates he would do it to cover up his other mates and make sure none of his mates end up suspended.

Something I’ve been told by someone who was told earlier said that there is a drug issue and positive reading at the club.

If anything is true, Eddie and Bucks lose their jobs.. maybe that’s why Scott was spotted with Walsh a week or so ago.

Match fixing is one thing, but acknowledging the fact that mass groups of players are using betting companies to bet on themselves is something the AFL would be keen to sweep under the rug.

They make a lot of money from these companies and if an entire club was punished due to players betting with them there'd be serious backlash against the AFL association with Sportsbet. That is the last thing the AFL wants.
