The 2 KPD defence seems much better for us. Particuarly when JOD can actually use the ball well. Makes the 4 KPD set up we ran earlier in the year even more perplexing.

It's not only that it's who. We have two key defenders that are willing to take on the game and have decent spacial awareness and foot skills.

The entire backline looks far more balanced.

Its only taken injuries and most of the season to arrive at this point.

Baz just doesn’t really kick it anymore. Hope his confidence hasn’t been damaged too much by the media this year. His off-season will be really important in cementing the right balance because it’s swung too far the other way now.

First quarter we forgot to handball like 50 times as usual ,and two or three kicks were all it took to find JUH . Sadly we’ve remembered we quite like handballing again & it’s not as much fun .

I know leg speed and pressure are all about the modern medium forward , but even if he lacks a bit of that Rhylee West is so much more enjoyable to watch than some of the others we’ve tried in that role .
