Even without Richards, I’m confident in winning the midfield battle. Bont, Treloar and a fit and rested Libba are almost enough by themselves. We definitely need Bedendo in to cover for Bont not being forward as much with Richards missing.

I won't have really high expectations of Libba instantly hitting his straps. Could take him a game or two to get there after a layoff. Rested, yes. Match-conditioned, not so much.

So Richards not playing will be a real blow to our chances.

Didn’t say jamarras name but he said with Darcy and naughton out, but lobb in were definitely 1 down maybe 2

Could be mistaken but sounded like we may be down another tall fwd and JUH is the only other one.

Jamarra has some remarkably heavy strapping on his calf in the training photos. Hopefully it was just a corkie and not an actual injury. He was definitely struggling with something towards the end of last week.

As others have said, i dont believe with our outs, and Richards to miss again that we should be short favourites.
Brisbane will respond after a bye and a poor start to the year. they usually get a roll on at this time of year and win multiple games on end. its such a poor standard year outside of Sydney and there are opportunities to charge through in the back end of the season. for us as well

That is compression bandage not strapping, so most likely some type of bruising/ haematoma I’d say. Good signs that he’s training

Early in week it looked like Red, Libba and Scott would have been the ins, the concussion club which would have a big risk having 3 players resuming from concussion. Scott looked the worst as he down for a long time but probably his first. Seems like the number of concussions have gone through the roof this season. Not sure there are a lot more incidents or the reporting and protocols are the reasons for this.
