Competitions BF Dockers Real DT League thread

Hi all,

Expressions of Interest for those intending to enter the BF Dockers leagues for the VirtualSports (Real) Dream Team. This is NOT the one run through the afl.com.au website but is the one that more closely resembles the game that has been played in year's past.

Division 1 will be for those BF Dockers members with a proven history (I have all have have competed in the last few years) as this league competes against the other boards. All are welcome and in the past we have had around 4 leagues with everyone getting a go.

If you mentioned an interest in the other thread please repeat it here (to make it easy for me). I will update the OP those who nominate.

I will be organising the leagues for VS DT, which will be used in the inter-board competition. If you want to organise the AFL Fantasy league, I am sure there will be people willing to join.

Here's a pretty good summary:

- Magic number is higher for DT meaning it's harder to fit in as many premiums. Rookies appear cheaper (the 'normal') price whereas Fantasy they're worth another 100k odd more than usual.
- DT has 30 trades for the season whereas Fantasy is 2 trades a week.
- Fantasy allows you to use unlimited trades after round 1 to change your side whereas you're locked with what you've got once you go into round 1 with DT.
- Prices change straight away with Fantasy (well excluding round 1) whereas I'd assume DT will stick with the rolling 3 game average.

I assume the scoring system will be the same for both competitions (given that players have the same 2013 average in both comps).
