Yeah was just referencing an earlier post. I hadn’t realised that Hales and Roussouw were leaving though - assumed we’d have a top 4 of Hales, Warner, Gilkes and Roussouw to contend with.

We're most likely to come up against a similar XI to the Sixers game on Sunday, with Hales out and Warner in. They bat pretty deep though with Green at 9.

The crowd engagement that the grounds come up with these days is straight up embarrassing, not to mention non-stop. Went to a big bash game earlier this season, and after every single ball there was some sort of sound affect, music or unoriginal crowd participation chant that's been done a thousand times.
I thought Marketing was meant to be a creative profession.

I often think BBL could do with a ground-announcer / hype-man like at NBL games. Just not Lachie Reid.
Cultural impact of not wanting to be boorish, and most folks at the sport want to watch the sport rather than multi-tasking.
I think it's just a case of being a good chasing side now. With the lineup we have, the batters seem to be really good at pacing a chase as opposed to knowing how hard to go to set a target.

Let’s be honest here, it’s easy for him to walk away from the BBL while pretending he’s taking a stand about Australia walking away from the series with Afghanistan, because the BBL doesn’t pay huge money and he has other options around this time. If India walked away from a series with Afghanistan I highly doubt that Rashid would be bailing out on the IPL.
