It always used to be a dead ball. The new rule is basically saying that the batsman has hit it so far that we will deem it a six. I actually think there's a certain logic to it. Someone's gonna be unhappy no matter what rule you go with but fortunately cricket doesn't often get played under a roof.Cricket and logic don’t always meet but I’d have thought the logical rule would be to call it a dead ball and bowl it again. Awarding a six for a shot that may otherwise have been catchable seems unfair
53 off 42 with 10 wickets in hand and lost by 13 (?) runs.Eerily similar to how they choked in the final against the Renegades.
That's what I was thinking at the time.Eerily similar to how they choked in the final against the Renegades.
Probably back to Warney days and wasn't Eddie McGuire owner too or something? Why is there always hype around the Stars? It's like they've been designated the BBL 'glamour club'.
Then you're giving this as a dead ballCricket and logic don’t always meet but I’d have thought the logical rule would be to call it a dead ball and bowl it again. Awarding a six for a shot that may otherwise have been catchable seems unfair
Some cultures and actually have a decent festival/party culture they bring into sport. Our is just getting shitfaced
Hell of a ball to be fair.Hahahahaha Warner
Sure. He’s a great spinnerI won't pretend to be unbiased here but he's been one of the best spinners in International cricket in the other forms for the past few years and had clearly been told by the selectors he was a very good chance of going so I don't think it's unreasonable for him to be disappointed he's not going. It's not as if they've picked four Warne's in the squad either.
My solution re roof
If it hits the roof and hits the ground = six
If it hits the roof and is caught = out
Easy
Free pizza.Lodges in roof?
And he drops a soda. The Davies boys looking like the next big things in Australian fielding.
