I switched it on when they needed 40 odd off 2.5 overs and assumed it was another one sided match. Watched something else and then checked cricinfo after the game had finished. What the hell!??

I also dislike the silver and gold wearing NFL teams and the Hawks Power Ranger jumper so I'm sure as hell not going to endorse it in cricket.

Looks like he’s reached the Aaron Finch phase of his T20 career where he’s good enough to hang around the crease but has lost the ability to time the ball well enough to score quickly. He’s second in runs in the IPL, but a strike rate of 118 when most top and middle order batsmen are striking at 150+ means his value is pretty limited.

You don't really need an anchor in T20.

Matt Short looking good in his second IPL start. Should get an opening gig in both coloured clothing sides shortly, you’d think.
This IPL seems to have had more than its share of close finishes. In some cases ridiculously close (5 consecutive sixes, missed Mankad for the win). If only I could stay awake.

Just watched the finish to that game, what a shit show from the fielding team. Keeper botched it just as much.
