We're in a commanding position now.

Just can't let their obdurate lower order bail them out again (helps Axar and Ashwin aren't playing)

Not the best on un-doctored pitches 😂

It wasn't bizarre if you have seen him bat before. Its probably his one wood.
Not bizarre for him to choose the shot, but a bizarre shot to choose for that delivery given how risky it is and how much time was left in the match to give up your wicket so easily, particularly when it's been getting him out.

"According to CricViz, the 31-year-old has fallen victim to the reverse sweep in four of his seven most recent Test knocks, averaging 3.50 with the cross-bat shot this year."

That’s good vision on why Boland is so tough. Lands the ball near the same spot every time but after a bunch of them come through at fourth or fifth stump, that one comes back in to rattle the top of middle and off. Very skillful bowling.

He is a very smart player who I believe will be a real handful for the Poms in the Ashes series.
The Pommy curators will have wickets to suit their bowlers: Anderson, Broad and Co that will also suit Boland perfectly.
I see a Ryan Harris series coming up for him in the ashes, under ratted and respected somewhat and therefore he will be a very damaging bowler.

For those who don't follow County Cricket, Michael Nesser is playing some sublime cricket at the moment and will also be a very handy option for the Ashes.

I didn’t realise smudge’s average dipped below 60 before the last innings. It’s back over 60 again. I hope he can maintain an average over 60 before he hangs em up cause I don’t think anyone will get that +9000 test runs while maintaining that average again

This Thakur fakur scored runs against us in that infamous Gabba Test didn’t he? Need to open up an end here quick smart.
