Not bizarre for him to choose the shot, but a bizarre shot to choose for that delivery given how risky it is and how much time was left in the match to give up your wicket so easily, particularly when it's been getting him out.

"According to CricViz, the 31-year-old has fallen victim to the reverse sweep in four of his seven most recent Test knocks, averaging 3.50 with the cross-bat shot this year."

As I said, it's his one wood. Like me when I decide to hit a one wood, 8/10 I end up in the sh1t.

It just mystifies me why bowlers feel the need to push the line on the front foot. Aim to have your toe on the line and you never bowl a NB. Would make FA difference when you are sending down 140kmh seeds.
I used to argue with bowlers in the nets who bowled a metre over the front line. I never got a satisfactory answer. Gives me the sh!ts, no end.

At an old ground I used to play at when much younger there was a distinct down and uphill from either end. Bowling uphill it was very distinct up onto the pitch and every pace bowler used to bowl no balls from that end. You just couldn't judge when your jump was from for the guys with real pace and long strides. Knew two guys who did their back knees there too as it just used to land higher than expected, slide then grip. ****ing nightmare.

Hahahah walking off and then having to come back on lol

Wasn’t a good look tbh

Pretty dismissive of the review process even if it was out

To India’s credit they have fought back to a point where they can conceivably win this match. Didn’t look like that earlier when it seemed that they’d be going into the second innings down by 250+. Their run rate was quite rapid by non-England standards, so there’s actually plenty of time left for an outright result, which you wouldn’t have necessarily thought after going into day two with Aus at 3-320.
